Welcome

Poole in Bloom is a voluntary organisation.  We work in partnership with residents, schools, Ward Councillors and Council officers and local organisations to carry out Borough-wide improvements for the benefit of those that live and work here, and for visitors.

Our aim is the enhancement of Poole's streets, gardens and natural environment.

This can only be achieved with the enthusiasm and involvement of the local community - the residents and businesses that enter our competitions and those who volunteer to help the Poole in Bloom committee carry out a range of projects in neighbourhoods right across Poole, from Merley to Canford Cliffs, from Hamworthy to Branksome.

Activities include bulb and wild flower planting.  We organise litter picks and floral displays, and work with schools on environmentally sustainable and educational projects.  In areas such as Broadstone, Coy Pond and Canford Cliffs, volunteers undertake to brighten and restore neglected and communal areas.
