Garden of the Year Awards 2009

2009 Award Winners at Rockley Park, 5th OctoberAwards were presented by the Mayor of Poole at a ceremony held on 5th October 2009, hosted by award winners Rockley Park Holiday Village, Hamworthy.

Denise Hill, Chair of Poole in Bloom, said: “We were delighted with the number of entries for the 2009 front garden of the year. This was a huge increase on previous competitions and we hope to see even more entries for the coming year. The standard in the school gardening competitions has been tremendous and the quality of the crops grown by young and enthusiastic entrants bodes well for the future.”
